Inspired by both Georgia’s pottery heritage and modern Buckhead as a premier fashion, business, and entertainment destination, the boutique hotel’s decor is full of vibrant colors and patterns, with an art collection to match.
Hyatt Centric defines its guests as “modern explorers” and individuals who are “savvy, curious…and want their experience to be intuitive and smart,” says Kristine Rose, vice president of brands, Hyatt.
Knowing that Hyatt Centric wants each hotel to be an eclectic and fun experience for its guests, Saatchi Art curators worked with local fabricators to create custom sculptures and installation pieces that would allude to the hotel’s prime destination.
Each bespoke artwork artfully resembles earthenware motifs and natural palettes that pay tribute to Georgia’s long tradition of folk pottery.
The art collection at the Hyatt Centric Buckhead is an excellent example of Saatchi Art curators’ ability to bolster a brand’s unique story and image through thoughtfully curated artwork.
Saatchi Art curators worked with design studios Sawyer & Company, NYC, on the artwork and installations for the guestrooms, suites, fitness center, and elevator cabs, and with Johnson Studio, Atlanta, on the restaurant pieces, custom neon signage, and restroom decor.
With an emphasis on visually dynamic and approachable pieces, the selection of artworks chosen by Saatchi Art curators further boosts the hotel’s welcoming atmosphere and accessibility.
